(Redirected from Central Africa)
Central Africa is a core region of the African continent often considered to include Burundi, the Central African Republic, Chad, Democratic Republic of the Congo, and Rwanda. The region is dominated by the Congo River and its tributaries, which collectively drain a greater area than any river system except the Amazon. North and south of the Congo Basin are large areas with a tropical savanna climate. Those areas are warm all year, but have distinct dry and wet seasons.
